One of his faithful student infused the philosopher stone in his chest as a replacement for his heart and now he's immortal
Fane is quite a gentlemen and is very kind. He mainly specializes in healing magic but can become offensive if required. He can regrow lost limbs of the victim but the magic consumed from the philosopher stone causes him pain equivalent to a heart attack. Now he lives on helping people

I just love how neat your sketches are! *O* Fane looks so cool, and he really does look like a gentleman~
And his story too, you really put a lot of thought into him! *O* And being a downside to being able to regrow limbs with a heart attack is really interesting, and it means he's a really balanced character!
